GST01 – Glock Firearm Safety Training
Target Participant: New owners of Glock handguns Prerequisites: Must be legally authorised to handle a firearm in Cambodia Duration: 5 Hours Participant Numbers: Minimum of 10, Maximum of 20 Certificate: Provided Location: Your venue or ours. Validity: 12 monthsThis firearms safety and Glock pistol handling course is designed for new owner/operator of a Glock pistols. The course is generally mandatory for all new legal purchases of Glock pistols in Cambodia.
This course will teach participants how to safely handle their hand gun as well as general maintenance procedures in accordance with Glock factory recommendations. Participants will also get an understanding of safe practices for owning a hand gun and carry a hand gun as part of the role of a Police/Security Officer.
This course is currently only open to members of the Cambodian National Police or Cambodian Armed Forces. The course can however be delivered outside of Cambodia in accordance with local laws in the applicable country.
GST02 – Firearm Safety Awareness
Target Participant: Individuals looking to enter into a career in military or police Prerequisites: None Duration: 8 Hours Participant Numbers: Minimum of 10, Maximum of 20 Certificate: Provided Location: Your venue or ours. Validity: 12 monthsThis firearms safety awareness course is designed for individuals looking for a career in the police or military. It will give you skills and knowledge on the safe handling of firearms and how to be a responsible firearm owner.
The course also goes into detail of the responsibilities of carry a weapon as a law enforcement office, as well as providing awareness of the hazards associated with the role. Participants will leave with an excellent understanding of consequences associated with unsafe handling of firearms.
Completion of this course will be of great advantage to those wanting to enter the police or military.
GST03 – Firearm Identification and Safety Awareness
Target Participant: Anyone Prerequisites: None Duration: 4 Hours Participant Numbers: Minimum of 10, Maximum of 20 Certificate: Provided Location: Your venue or ours. Validity: 12 monthsThis course is unique in the fact that it is purely designed to provide awareness to individuals that have had little or no exposure to firearms in the past, and wish to gain an understanding for safety purposes.
Cambodia unfortunately is full of weapons from all over the world, many of which are not registered or in good operational conditions. There is a significant chance that individuals new to Cambodia have not had this level of exposure to weapons, and it is important that they know what to do in the event of coming across firearms.
The course will teach you that basics of how to identify the type of weapon you are dealing with, different safety features of weapons, how to identify if a weapon is loaded, and how to unload and make a weapon safe.
This course is open to anyone over the age of 12, however individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
GST04 – Glock Armorers Course
Target Participant: Personnel responsible for the maintenance of Glock handguns Prerequisites: Must be legally authorised to handle a firearm in Cambodia Duration: 8 Hours Participant Numbers: Minimum of 10, Maximum of 20 Certificate: Provided Location: Your venue or ours. Validity: 12 monthsThe Glock Armorers course is fully supported by Glock, and provides factory based advice for owner/operators or personnel responsible for the maintenance of Glock pistols.
This course is specific to Glock pistols.
GST05 – International Shooting Training
Target Participant: New owners of Glock handguns Prerequisites: Must be legally authorised to handle a firearm in Cambodia Duration: 8 Hours Participant Numbers: Minimum of 10, Maximum of 20 Certificate: Provided Location: TBA. Validity: 12 monthsParticipants need to legally obtain their own ammunition for this course, as well as have access to a legally registered handgun.
AZISAFE expert instructors will teach you to shoot to international UN standards. Prior to completion of the course you will be required to undertake a qualifying shoot to demonstrate your ability and accuracy.
